Dr. Rajiv
Yeravdekar, Dean SDHS presented a paper on
“Emergency Medical Services” – Nucleus of
the Medical Volunteer force for CWG 2010” at
the National Congress on Sports Medicine
‘Sports Medcon’, organized by the Indian
Federation of Sports Medicine (IFSM) on 9th

Dr. Neeta
Bhatia , Administrator SDHS , made a
presentation on Professional Upgradation
Programmes at the Maharashtra State IMA
Conference at Mahabaleshwar on the 26th
November 2005. |

On 26th
November 05 Manikins imported from Germany
were officially handed over to SDHS by the
Rotary International who donated s sum of
18000 US$ (Rs. 8 lakhs) for the purchase of
these manikins. Amongst the honorable
dignitaries present for the function were
Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, Chancellor SIEC, DU who
shared his experiences on the budding
developments and success of the SDHS
academic programmes. Dr. Rajiv Yeravdekar,
Director and Head SDHS, elaborated on the
credentials achieved by the PGDEMS programme
run by SDHS. Dr. Prasad Rajhans, Course
Director EMS then threw light on the role of
manikins as a teaching aid in handling
emergencies and convinced their importance.
Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Joint Director,
Symbiosis and Mr. Vasudeo Yadwad, President
Rotary Club of Pune, Kothrud were the other
dignitaries present for the event. |
