About Us:
Symbiosis Department of Health Sciences (SDHS), is a constituent of the prestigious Symbiosis International Educational Centre, SIEC Deemed University. SDHS has conceptualized & implemented a group of professional up-gradation programmes meant to equip the healthcare professional with the appropriate tools in order to survive this age of fierce competition and specialisation. The SDHS encourages a symbiosis of thought, word & action of all such professionals who would address the all important issue of health in its totality. Through its unique, innovative, career oriented programmes, SDHS plans to raise a cadre of professionals who would ensure delivery of optimum health care services. 

A formal Memorandum of Understanding has been signed with the Maharashtra Medical Foundation (MMF) & Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital & Research Center (DMH), Pune to provide the necessary “hands on” clinical & para clinical experience necessary for the students pursuing these hospital based academic programmes. The Maharashtra Medical Foundation (MMF) manages two hospitals viz. Joshi Hospital & Ratna Hospitals. Both these hospitals and Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital & Research Center are tertiary care hospitals with combined bed strength of 635

A similar arrangement has been made with the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT) to support the courses in sports & fitness.
